Aloha. I'm Jessie Sponberg, and I make Fruity Puppy from my home in Mountain View, Hawai'i — right on the slopes of Kīlauea, where the volcanic soil is some of the most mineral-rich on Earth. What started as a personal obsession with real food for skin became something I couldn't keep to myself.

Most skincare creams use fruit extracts — tiny fractions of the real thing, processed with heat and solvents until the living nutrition is gone. Fruity Puppy is different. Every jar is 45% real fresh Hawaiian tropical fruit, and we mean real — whole fruit, not a concentrate, not a powder, not a fragrance.

Our mission is simple: give your skin the same nutrition you'd give your body. Vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants — 17 of them — delivered in a form your skin can actually absorb and use.

The Ice-Extraction Process

Heat destroys what makes fruit powerful. That's why we use ice extraction — a cold-process method that pulls the living juice, enzymes, and antioxidants from fresh fruit without ever applying heat. The result is a semi-crystalline lipid butter lattice that locks in every fragile nutrient and delivers it slowly, deeply, and effectively into your skin.

It's more labor-intensive. It's more expensive. And it's the only way we know how to do it right.

We partner directly with small Hawaiian farms to source our fruit. Our ingredients come from places like FlashTown Farm on the Big Island and Rooster Island Farms — growers who care as much about their land as we care about what goes into your jar.

Volcanic soil. Tropical sun. Clean rain. These aren't marketing words — they're the reason our fruit is unlike anything grown anywhere else on the planet.

Small-Batch, Always

Fruity Puppy is made in small batches to ensure every jar meets our standards. We don't scale at the expense of quality. When the fruit is right, we make the cream. That's the whole process.
